Children
Children are very important to us at Garden Grove Friends Church. We desire for children to come to a knowing relationship with Jesus Christ at an early age, so they will have a foundation for life.
We have Sunday School that starts at 9:15 am on Sundays, from nursery age to 6th grade. During worship children, that are not in the nursery, start out in the Adult Worship Service, and then are dismissed after a "Feeding of the Lambs", to Children's Church where they have a Worship Service geared to their age group.
We have a fun and exciting Wednesday night program that starts with a dinner at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall, and then goes into B.A.N.G. which stands for Bible Activity Night for God, which is geared for children from pre-school to 6th grade. Nursery care is also provided.
Children are ALWAYS welcome to stay with parents during any worship service, and a family room is provided, in the back of the sanctuary, for your convenience.
“Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Mark 10:14-15
